In a perfect world, processes that run in the background do not eat up all your system resources, nothing goes awry and your processor usage never shoots up to 100%. But we do not live in a perfect world, do we? So in the imperfect world we live in, processes will hog the processor and will cause your computer to slow down, even halt to a stop. There are specialized software applications that aim to do away with such problems.

Process Lasso reduces the priority of processes that are not important and processes that hog your processor.
